Melody 22:Brother and sister

“Wow,so clean!”

We reached the airport,and the first thing i noticed is how clean the place is,

Not only that,there’s even a mall here.

We walk to entrance,and saw two familiar person,

“Yo,Hibiki,Mitsuba!”

“Mom!Dad!”

Nee-san run towards them and gave them a hug,

“Hi unc...father,mother.”

“Ahahaha,already married to my little daughter!”

Mom walk towards us,and started pinching Meguri’s face,

“Who’s this cute little girl?”

“I’m Shunn Meguri,Hibiki’s wife.”

“Ah,i can’t believe my useless son got married to such a cute girl.”

Ha,in my family,if you can’t communicate well with other people,you are consider useless,

Since my family members always work at the entertainment industry,

Nee-san as well,she’s just started her career as a stage actor,

If i can choose a job,i think i’ll want to work as someone who don’t have to stand up on stage.

“Hibiki is not useless,he got a lot of good quality.”

“Oh.Hahahaha!Darling,someone complimented our son!”

“Really!Our incompetent son got complimented!”

Seriously,that’s why i hate my family.It’s not my fault that i have trouble communicating with others.

“Well,enough talking,let’s go to our house.”

“Yep,we sort of bought the house.”

Wait,does that mean,they aren’t japanese citizens anymore?

You need to be a permanent citizen to buy a house,so did they…

“Of course not,we brought the house from our friend.”

Phew,i’m glad that they’re still japanese citizens,if not,where am i going to live.

“Sorry,but i’ve book a hotel,so me and Mitsuba won’t be coming.”

“That’s too bad,but let’s meet up at a restaurant tonight.Oh,bring your parents as well.”

“Ofcourse,Mom.”



“Thanks for having us,uncle.”

“No problem!Call me Hizu-san instead!”

“And call me Shiemei-san!”

How embarrassing,to see my parents asking my sensei to call them by their given name.

“Hibiki.”

“I know what you’re thinking.When we’re outside of school,i’m not your sensei anymore.”

That means his my friend?

That’s worst!



“This is our house.”

It’s not a really big house,and dad said it’s a 5 room-condo,so the inside of the house is not really big either.

“You’ll be surprise to see someone.”

“Is it someone we know?”

“Of course not.”

Then what's the point on telling us that!

As we enter the house,i heard two people arguing,

A boy was sitting in front of the sofa with a girl next to him,

“Cao ci bai,what you doing!”

“Sorry lah!”

…...I have no idea what they are talking about?

“Oi who say you can speak vulgar!”

“Oh,Mom,Dad!”

Mom!!Dad!!

I look at them in confusion,since when do i have more siblings?

“Their adopted,after their parents died,who is our friend,we decided to help them by taking care of their children.”

“How long?”

“2 years.”  

That long and yet they never told us!

The boy walk towards me and look at me weirdly,

“So you’re my younger brother.”

“Younger?”

Both of them look younger than me,

“Both of us are 16 years old,so we’re your older siblings.”

Only one year difference!

Wait,how are they able to speak fluent japanese?

“Now,now,let’s not cause another argument.”

“Dad,how are they able to speak fluent japanese?”

“Oi,are you saying mocking me!”

What is wrong with this kid,his loud and thinking of the wrong things.

Compare to the girl,who is talking very poliety to Meguri.

“Our friends are japanese,and they have been speaking japanese at home and english outside.”

I see,that’s why he’s japanese is so fluent.

“Ah,you already know me,i’m Otoya Hibiki.”

“Kaido,Otoya Kaido.”

“I’m Otoya Miku,and i’ve already helped you placed your luggage into your room.”

“Ah,thank you.”

“Now,do any of you have places you want to go?”

Not really,i was not told that we were going to singapore,but if i have a place to go…

“I would like to go to a place that sells manga.”
